2025 Leading the Way Award Honoree: Bethany Studenic

Bethany Studenic, MPA, M.A. is a respected policy strategist, researcher, and advocate whose career has been defined by her unwavering commitment to equity, civic engagement, and social change.

She is the co-founder of Enlightened Solutions, a racial and gender justice think tank specializing in research-focused equity and organizational change. Bethany Studenic (she/her) is an attorney and social worker dedicated to civil rights advocacy. In 2018, she co-founded Enlightened Solutions, a race and gender justice think tank, alongside her partner ChiChi. In 2020, she co-authored Project Noir, a groundbreaking research initiative exploring the root causes of civil rights issues in Northeast Ohio. The project received national recognition and inspired both a Webby Award–winning NPR podcast titled Living for We and the creation of the nation's first city-level Commission on Black Women and Girls. 

Bethany Studenic is not only leading change, she is cultivating it. Her work stands as a powerful example of how legal and policy professionals can use their tools to break barriers, expand rights, and ensure justice reaches the communities that need it most.

Parking & Arrival
Off-Site Parking Garage: Guests may park at the 500 Building Parking Garage located at: 16 W Blenkner St, Columbus, OH 43215. The garage is located two blocks from the High Line Car House, just a 3 minute walk! Guests can get their parking ticket validated at the event bar for no cost.

Registration & Check-In

Upon arrival, please check in at the registration table located just inside the main entrance, and there you will receive your name badge. 

Attire

Cocktail or business formal attire is encouraged.
